The Association of Balearic Constructors announced last week that there has been a marked lengthening of payment terms by developers, and the halting of a number of projects, as a consequence of the slowdown in demand and anticipated corporate liquidity problems.
Mallorca's (and Spain's) main mortgage reference rate, the Euribor, fell during the first month of 2008 to 4.5 % from 4.79%, the biggest monthly fall in 6 years. While this is excellent news for those looking for new mortgages in Mallorca .....
